Any day of the week that you head out to Richard Craig Park you will probably see Tyler Ladge on the courts demonstrating tennis excellence. While he is only a 15 year old rising Junior at McDonough High School, his craftsmanship is something to behold. Tyler started playing tennis when he was eight years old under the direction of Wes Fuller, who has been his one and only coach. In the words of Tyler, "Coach Wes is the best coach ever!!" And certainly the results back up that statement. Tyler has participated in over 20 tournaments with an incredible winning record. In addition, Tyler gives back by teaching other kids how to play as an assistant to Coach Wes and we at Above the Net are forever grateful that he imparts his knowledge to the kids (and adults!) who participate in our programs.
After he achieved a 12-1 win record in 9th and 10th grades, Tyler this week was named All Regional Player of the Year!!
When he is not on the courts, Tyler enjoys working out and drawing and plans post- high school to get a scholarship for tennis and study mechanical engineering at Kennasaw State or Georgia Tech.
We are incredibly proud of Tyler and look forward to following him in his future endeavors!
