Caroline, an exceptional kid in our program who has been with us from the start, has some exciting news! Caroline had the coolest weekend ever at the USTA National Training Center in Orlando, FL. It was like a dream come true for her!
She had the esteemed opportunity to practice on the amazing state-of-the-art tennis court campus. Keep in mind, this is the same tennis campus that tennis greats like Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Venus & Serena Williams, and Danielle Collins, just to name a few, have trained on.
Caroline received some fantastic feedback from the USTA expert coaching team. They said Caroline has excellent strokes and pace which translates into she can hit that tennis ball hard. Consider, this a clear warning to her opponent. They even noticed how focused she was during practice. That's a big deal! But here's the cool part – they gave her some tips to make her serve even better. They showed her how to change her racket grip a bit differently so that when she serves, the pronation feels more natural. How awesome is that? Priceless!
Caroline's weekend at the USTA Center was like a big thumbs-up for her tennis skills. She's a star in the making, and we can't wait to see where her tennis journey takes her next! For certain, Above the Net will be right there to cheer her on!
