May is National Tennis Month, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by hosting our very own Tennis 101 Learning Event! Designed for tennis parents, beginners and curious minds of all ages, this session focused on the fundamentals—everything from identifying the parts of a tennis racket to understanding the layout of the court. We even broke down the meaning of NJTL (National Junior Tennis & Learning), and trust us, there were some fun “aha!” moments along the way.

We were thrilled to see so many eager participants asking questions, soaking in the knowledge, and genuinely enjoying the learning process. It reminded us that tennis doesn’t have to be intimidating—it's a sport that welcomes everyone willing to pick up a racket and give it a try.

If you missed the first round, don’t worry—we’ve got more sessions coming up, and we’d love to see you there! Join us for Tennis 101 on Saturdays May 10th, 17th, and 24th at 11:00 AM. Next session: score keeping and game formats. These sessions are perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of tennis....as a parent to a player, a watcher of the sport, or a beginner player...... in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

You can RSVP at www.abovethenettennis.org. While you're there, feel free to explore our programs and learn how we’re using tennis to build confidence, leadership, and community—on and off the court.
We hope to see you soon. Come learn, laugh, and fall in love with the game—we'll bring the knowledge, you bring the enthusiasm!

What a great way to get parents interested in the sport for their enjoyment.
