Tennis as an Adult?? Absolutely!!

Last night we kicked off our first USTA sponsored Adult Apprentice Program of 2022!! Some folks were completely new to the sport, some watched their kids learn and said now was their time, and some were returning after a looooooooong hiatus. After handing out their new rackets and dampners, the eager group hit the courts, warmed up with some walking and stretching, and played a fun grab the racket game. Next Coach Antonio led the team through a series of games to teach forehands, backhands, and volleys...that included some friendly competition! What was certainly clear was that all learned something new and were having a great time!
